Programmes for people 35+ who want to regain strength, energy, and confidence — while training in a way that respects how their life has changed.

What are the programmes?

Gary offers two proven programs built for people over 35.

Choose The Challenge to kick-start change,
or Perform to push your training further.

  • For men 35+, who formerly played sports, and who want to shed that dad-bod.

A man with a white cap, black t-shirt, and black shorts is doing a fitness exercise using a dumbbell on a lounge chair outdoors in front of a stone wall. He is leaning forward with one hand on the chair and one hand holding a dumbbell.

Perform

Meet Gary

I played professional rugby, then qualified as a physio and moved into coaching. I set up these programmes for men over 35 because I know how much the body changes as we get older.

Most of what’s out there is generic stuff that ignores injuries, recovery, and the reality of life after 35.

I wanted something smarter, built around real bodies and real goals. That’s why I created The Challenge and Perform.

“I’ve struggled with my diet for the last 4 years. Having the knowledge is one thing…but the accountability was a game-changer for me. I have a renewed focus. The Challenge has helped massively.”

 FAQs

  • The philosophy and protocols behind all programmes are both Physiotherapy and research driven. As a Physiotherapist I have worked with and continue to work with people who have or have had osteoporosis, shoulder reconstructions, knee and hip replacements, lumbar back surgeries and ACL and Achilles ruptures. I also work people who are undergoing Hormone Replacement Therapy, or have recently started Ozempic or another GLP-1 medication.

  • Although 90% of our clients are male, we do run both The Challenge and Perform Monthly for women also.

  • It’s mainly for men 35+ who may have been previously active or involved in sports and want to get back in shape without messing themselves up in the process. If you’ve tried going it alone, fallen off track, or just want a clear plan that works with real life, this is for you.

  • The Challenge is run five times per year with set start dates. See the webpage or sign up for notifications on the next start date. Perform Groups run all year round - so you can be added in to one of them any time.

  • Each programme is tailored to the individuals needs and so it has a slightly different focus—whether it’s rebuilding a base, dropping weight, or pushing performance.

The Challenge is really the foundational level of getting back into a routine, sorting out your nutrition, designing you a resistance training protocol, and helping you get a better night’s sleep.

Perform takes it up a level as you’ll be trained up in more advanced techniques and science with all year round accountability.

  • Hit the sign-up button on the programme you wish to start, and you’re in—it takes about two minutes. Just make sure to check email messages don’t go to spam!

For The Challenge it’s the same and then we’ll send you a questionnaire, and you’ll receive access to the app ahead of kick off day.

For Perform you’ll be added to a new group within 48 hours and we’ll get you introduced to your new plan and training pals!

  • You’ll be matched with guys around your age and stage, so no one’s miles ahead or miles behind. Groups are small enough that you’ll actually get to know people, but big enough to keep the energy high and the accountability strong.

  • No problem. All the sessions and materials are in the app, so you can catch up when you’re back. Life will always mean things get in the way of fitness goals, but we’ll show you how to slot things in so you don’t fall behind or lose momentum.

  • All of this will be planned with you according to your previous training experience, injury history and life commitments.

Generally x3 hours a week will do it, split between workouts and short check-ins. It’s enough to push you and get results, but it won’t take over your life. Most guys fit it around work, travel, and family without issues.
