Meet your coach

Physio, nutritionist and ex-pro athlete who gets the struggle.

Gary isn’t your standard coach. He’s a qualified physiotherapist, a certified sports nutritionist, and a former professional rugby player who has experienced the same struggles many of his clients face. He has been overweight, battled food and drink habits, and lived through months of inactivity. He knows what it feels like to dread exercise, to wrestle with a sweet tooth at midnight, and to deal with recurring injuries. That lived experience, combined with his professional training, means he designs programmes that are realistic and human, not generic or extreme.

His credentials stretch far beyond the gym. Gary has featured on national radio with Lottie Ryan and Jennifer Zamparelli discussing exercise selection and strength training, and he has been profiled in outlets including the Irish Independent, Irish Examiner, and Rugby Players Ireland. He was a Celtic League Player of the Month during his rugby career and part of Leinster’s 2009 title-winning squad. These appearances and accolades back up his expertise, but more importantly, they show his ability to translate high-performance principles into practical advice for everyday life.

What drives Gary now is not the spotlight but the change he sees in his clients. He built these programmes because he knows how easily life, injuries, and bad habits can get in the way. His biggest reward is watching men regain confidence, strength, and momentum in their lives. That progress is what excites him—seeing people go from stuck to thriving, not with fads or quick fixes, but with systems that fit around real lives.
